Karolyn Davis

Research and Data Intern

Karolyn Davis is a Research and Data Intern at The Education Trust-Midwest. 

Karolyn first became interested in education policy after taking an undergraduate seminar in education policy. She then carried this passion through the rest of her education, including completing a program evaluation on Michigan Reconnect with a racial equity focus for her master’s capstone. 

 Strongly believing in access to high-quality K – 12 and higher education for all Michiganders, Karolyn attended her local community college, Northwestern Michigan College, and earned an associate’s degree. She then transferred to Michigan State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science, as well as a Master of Public Policy. 

 In her free time, Karolyn enjoys spending time with her family, going to musicals, and watching MSU football, MSU basketball, and the Detroit Lions. Go Green! Goooo Lions!
