2018 Policy Fellow
Lauren Hubbard recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Law, Justice and Social Change. As an undergraduate, Lauren worked at the University of Michigan’s Career Center and interned at a variety of public service organizations. Through her experiences at the U.S. Department of Education, the University of Michigan Federal Relations Office and the Washtenaw County Public Defender, Lauren gained a passion for education policy and legislation. As a native Michigander, Lauren is determined to leverage her diverse skillset, which includes qualitative and quantitative research methods and external relations experience, to positively impact the education system in her home state and nationwide.
