Senior Data Consultant
Jacqueline Gardner is a senior data consultant supporting data collection and analysis for the Center For Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL). She previously served as a senior data and policy analyst supporting qualitative and quantitative research, practice and policy initiatives at the Education Trust-Midwest.
Gardner began her career as a data and evaluation specialist at Michigan State University, where she supported the data needs of Michigan schools and districts, specifically focusing on state of Michigan accountability requirements and student assessment data. Gardner has co-authored articles published in nationally refereed journals and a book for the International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA).
Gardner earned her Ph.D. in Education Policy from Michigan State University in 2020.
Gardner holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, a master’s degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University, as well as a master’s degree in Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Gardner is alumni of the Education Policy Fellowship Program through the Education Policy Center at Michigan State University.
