Cameron Cochran is a fellow supporting special projects at the Education Trust-Midwest.
Cameron Cochran is a current educator and inaugural fellow of the TFA Detroit Michigan Education Policy Fellowship. Cochran has been a classroom teacher for nine years and a school leader for the last four years. Currently, he serves as a high school teacher and restorative practices coordinator in Ypsilanti.
A Michigan native, Cochran holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in K-12 Education Administration from Michigan State University. He is passionate about advocating for marginalized student groups as well as for collaborating with others to find alternative policies that are grounded in equity and social justice.
